Artist Statement:

“ In my artistic exploration, I delve into the intricate essence of "home" through the intersecting lenses of portraiture, documentary, and architecture. Each facet serves as a window into the diverse narratives woven within the concept of home.

Through portraiture, I capture the intimate essence of individuals within their domestic spaces, unraveling the layers of identity and belonging that resonate within these walls. Each portrait becomes a testament to the myriad ways in which home shapes and is shaped by the people who inhabit it.

In my documentary work, I venture beyond individual portraits to explore the broader socio-cultural landscapes that define home. Through meticulous observation and storytelling, I document the nuances of communities, shedding light on the shared experiences, traditions, and challenges that bind them together.

Simultaneously, my architectural lens offers a unique perspective on the physical manifestations of home. From humble abodes to towering skyscrapers, I examine the structures that house our lives, exploring how they reflect societal values, cultural identities, and individual aspirations.

Through this multi-dimensional approach, I aim to unravel the complexities of home, inviting viewers to contemplate their own relationships with the spaces they inhabit and the communities they belong to. In a world marked by constant flux and displacement, my work serves as a reminder of the enduring significance of home as a sanctuary, a haven, and a reflection of our shared humanity.”
